,Year 3 had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating Healthy Living Week as part of our school’s annual tradition! It was an energetic, and action-packed few days filled with a wide variety of sporting activities that got everyone moving and working together.

Throughout the week, Y3 pupils enthusiastically took part in:

🏏 Cricket – learning new skills and enjoying some friendly competition
🏀 Basketball – practicing teamwork and coordination
🏃 Athletics – sprinting, jumping, and a variety of other activities
👟 Whole School Run – joining the entire school in a fun and inclusive run
💃 Dance – moving to the rhythm and expressing themselves through dance
🎯 Sports Day & Potted Sports – a highlight of the week, carefully organised with the help of our brilliant Year 6’s

In our VIPERS reading sessions, we explored the fascinating world of Ancient Greece and the origins of the Olympic Games—a perfect fit for our healthy theme! The children were captivated by the stories of ancient athletes and how the Olympic spirit has carried through to modern times.

It was wonderful to see the children supporting one another, trying new things, and embracing the spirit of healthy living with such enthusiasm.

huge thank you goes to Miss Robinson and all the fantastic activity providers who made the week so special. Your hard work and dedication helped create wonderful memories!

Well done, Y3 – you were amazing! 🌈👏
