This afternoon, we celebrated our class names, which are inspired by the Little People, Big Dreams book series. In recognition of Little People, Big Dreams Day on 20th September, we took part in some fun and creative activities linked to inspirational individuals featured in the books.
As our class’s significant individual is the artist Georgia O’Keeffe, we focused on artists today. We explored the work of Vincent van Gogh by drawing flowers, and then took part in an activity inspired by Yayoi Kusama, where we reflected on five things that are important to us.
