🧸✨ Step Back in Time: A Toy-Filled Adventure for Year 1!
On Monday 29th September, our Year 1 children will be embarking on a magical journey into the past—without even leaving the school! We’re thrilled to welcome a special visitor from Partake History, who will be bringing their captivating “Toys: Past and Present” workshop right to our hall.
This hands-on experience is designed to support our Autumn Term topic. Children will explore the evolution of toys from the earliest playthings to the quirky clockwork delights of our grandparents’ generation. They’ll get to handle, compare, and play with a wide range of toys, discovering how materials, movement, and manufacturing have changed over time.
Payment of £9 per child can be made via Arbor, and we kindly ask all parents to complete this by the deadline to ensure your children can take part in this enriching experience.
🎯 Why it’s worth every penny (£9 per child):
- Interactive learning: Children won’t just hear about history—they’ll live it!
- Sensory play: Touching and playing with real historical toys brings the past to life.
- Curriculum enrichment: Perfectly aligned with our topic on toys from the past and present.
Let’s make history fun, and inspiring for our young learners. Thank you for your continued support in making these opportunities possible!
