We’re thrilled to share some magical news… KPNS is going to the panto! This festive season, our children will be whisked away on a sparkling adventure as we head to see Cinderella, the dazzling pantomime from the multi award-winning Little Wolf Entertainment.

When are the children going and where is the panto?

The panto is on Wednesday 17th December at Loughborough Town Hall, we will be seeing an afternoon performance that begins at 1.45pm and travelling on a coach.

What time does the panto finish?

The performance starts at 1:45 which means we will be leaving school at 12:30. The performance finishes at 4pm and therefore we are expecting to be back at school by approximately 4:45pm. Please collect your children from their usual place.

What do they need to bring?

As we have to leave early for lunch, we are asking that all pupils bring a packed lunch and drink to school that day.As Friends have already paid £10.50 per ticket, we kindly ask for a contribution of £7.50 that we can use towards paying for the coach. This can be paid on Arbor.

What’s the panto about?

Cinderella has big dreams, but with her stepsisters stomping all over them, she’ll need help from her loyal friend Buttons and a sprinkle of fairy godmother magic to make it to the ball before midnight.

It’s a festive treat for us all and perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit!

🧚‍♀️ Helping Children Feel Ready for the Panto

We know that new experiences especially big, exciting ones like a pantomime can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. To help the children feel confident and prepared, we’ve put together some resources to support them before the trip (we will also be using these in the classroom)

🎥 Watch a short video of the theatre hall so children can see what it looks like and imagine themselves there. Please click here: https://youtu.be/UHjza2yGdTs

📘 Read our social story a gentle, step-by-step guide that explains what happens at a panto, who they’ll see, what it looks like and how they might feel. It’s designed to relieve any worries and help children feel calm and excited about the adventure.
