Welcome to Spring 1!
Please find attached below the curriculum map for Spring 1 which tells you everything we will be learning about this half term.
Our geography topic is all about the Arctic and Antarctic and we will be learning about living things and their habitats in science.
We will be reading a book called ‘The Polar Bear Explorers’ Club’ by Alex Bell if you see a copy in a charity shop or want to borrow it from the library. We will continue to read this book during Spring 2 as our geography topic lasts for a whole term.
Homework
Children are expected to stay in the green zone for Doodle maths and Doodle spell as well as complete additional assignments when set. These are set specifically for your child and will relate to things we are learning in school.
It’s time to start working on the Silver reading awards – if you haven’t finished your Bronze award yet, make sure you do that first!
PE
PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Please ensure your child has their kit in school on these days.
