Dear Families

On Wednesday 25th March we will be taking our school choir to sing and perform with the other schools in The Equals Trust. This is open to children in years 3 and up.

There will be one ticket available per family and you will need to bring this with you to watch the performance. The total capacity of the Albert Hall is 900 including performers and staff, so when you arrive you may find there are still audience seats available. Unfortunately, we are not able to fill any more than stated due to safety regulations.

Children will be spending the full day at the venue learning songs, singing together and sharing their performances with each other. They will come to school as normal and then will catch the Keyworth connection to the venue. we will aim to arrive at the Albert Hall for 10am. This will culminate in a performance for families, which starts at 5.30pm and should be finished by 6.45-7pm. At this point children will need to be collected by a responsible adult. Children will be accompanied by teachers from school throughout the day and they will need to wear full school uniform.

The cost per attendee this year will be £2 to cover the cost of the bus. We will be catching the public bus into Nottingham. Please can children bring their money with them on the day and also two packed lunches.

Each performer will also get ONE ticket for a member of their family to see the performance.

Please find below all the songs we need to be practicing ahead of the day, as well as out main song ‘I wish I knew how it would feel to be free.’

Thanks for your support
