Year Five Geography Trip
This morning, Ride class walked to Ling’s Lane as part of their Geography topic Farm, Sow and Grow.
Whilst there, they created a map of their route, identifying fields with crops, fields with farm equipment and fields with livestock. They also identified the topography of the area as being mainly flat but with rolling hills.
All of this lead them to conclude the the farm at Ling’s Lane is a Mixed Farm rather than a Pastoral or Arable Farm.
When they returned to school, they created aerial view maps of their walk, complete with a key!
