Year 4 Shine at the Toplink Festival!
On Wednesday 6th May, our Year 4 pupils had the fantastic opportunity to attend the Toplink Festival hosted at The South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form—and what an exciting morning it was!
We arrived bright and early, ready for a morning full of energy, teamwork, and fun. After being welcomed at the Sports Hall, the children made their way outside onto the school field, where a variety of engaging, team-based multi-sport activities awaited them.
The festival was led by enthusiastic Year 12 Sports Leaders, who did a brilliant job of organising and supporting each activity. Their encouragement helped create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every pupil felt confident to join in, try their best, and most importantly—enjoy themselves.
Throughout the morning, the focus was not just on sport, but on participation, teamwork, and building confidence. Our pupils worked wonderfully together, showing great sportsmanship, resilience, and plenty of smiles along the way!
It was lovely to see everyone so active and engaged, making the most of the different challenges. Events like this are a fantastic way to promote a love of physical activity, and we are so proud of how our Year 4 class represented our school.
A huge thank you to Mr Tom and everyone at The South Wolds Academy for organising such a well-run and enjoyable event. We had a brilliant time and look forward to attending again in the future!
