This half term we will be learning all about animals! We will explore pets and how to care for them, find out what vets do, and learn about animals that live in different places such as the jungle, the sea, farms, gardens and cold environments 🐾

We will be sharing lots of books and stories to bring our topic to life, helping us learn even more about animals in a fun and engaging way πŸ“š

We will also talk about how we look after animals in our foundation garden, share our favourite animals, and describe what we already know about them.

As we move into summer, we will notice seasonal changes and learn how to stay safe in the sun β˜€οΈ

If your child or anyone in the family has a pet, it would be great to share photos on Tapestry… We will enjoy sharing these together in the first week back! 🐢

Please see our Big Ideas poster below for key questions, vocabulary, and books that we will be sharing with the children πŸ“š
