What a busy and exciting week we have ahead in EYFS!

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be diving into all things pirates as we get into the spirit of our whole-school production of Treasure Island. We can’t wait to set sail on lots of exciting pirate adventures through our play, stories and learning activities. Ahoy, mateys! πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈβš“

On Wednesday, it’s time for our much-anticipated EYFS Drive-In Cinema! πŸš—πŸΏ The children are so excited, and we can’t wait to see all of the amazing cardboard cars they’ve created. It promises to be a fantastic afternoon of movie magic!

Also on Wednesday morning, our Reception children will be having their Year 1 transition morning. If your child is currently in Reception (F2), please remember to park their car in the EYFS classroom before heading to the Year 1 classroom for 8:50am, where Mr Jones will be ready to welcome them.

Nursery children can bring their cars with them as they come into school the usual way, meeting Mrs Boon at the gate.

Finally, on Thursday at 2:45pm, we’ll be celebrating our wonderful children at our Graduation Assembly in the school hall. πŸŽ“
This special event is for all children moving on to Reception and Year 1. If your child doesn’t usually attend on Thursday afternoons, they are very welcome to come along and join us for this special celebration.

It’s going to be a fantastic week filled with fun, excitement and lots of special memories. We can’t wait to share it all with you!

πŸ“š Reminder for Parents: We’ll be checking reading diaries next week for the final reading awards of the year! If your child is close to reaching their next award, make sure those reading entries are up to date before then. Happy reading! πŸ“–βœ¨
