Last week, we had a visit from Stuart who works for the School for the Deaf. He talked to Y6 about what it’s like to have hearing loss and that there are different levels of hearing loss. The children also got to look at different types of hearing aid and listen to some audio that demonstrates what it’s like to have hearing loss at different levels. Stuart showed them some toys that are used to support children with their hearing loss as well.
