Healthy eating in Sea Lions class...

Sea Lion class have thoroughly enjoyed learning about what we need in order to have a balanced diet. We learnt that there are five main food groups that we need to have a balanced diet these include: carbohydrates, protein, fruit and vegetables, fats and dairy. We also learnt about why these food groups are important and how they help keep our bodies healthy.

We used our teamwork skills to work in groups and sort different food items into their food groups. I was very impressed with how everyone listened to one another, participated and took turns!
