Our new topic this half term will be Splendid Skies, where we will be learning all about the seasons and different types of weather. We are hoping this will lead to some fantastic art, writing, science and geography work!

In maths this half term, year 1 children will be focusing on subtraction with numbers up to 10. As we get nearer to Christmas, we will also look at position and direction. Year 2 children will be working hard on their 2, 5 and 10 times tables, before moving onto measurement.

We have already made a start on our new topic and went for a (rather soggy!) nature walk around the school grounds. Check out the photo album to see what we got up to.
