For your writing task this week I would like you to:

Choose one endangered predator you would like to save and write a speech about why we should be saving your chosen endangered predator.

I have broken this task into steps so it might be helpful to try and do a step a day at your own pace.

Step 1: You may find it helpful to research your predator first before writing your speech (please see research links and videos below ).

Step 2: Plan your speech using the planning sheet at the bottom of this blog this will help you decide what you need to include in your speech.

Step 3: Write your speech:

Think about using:

- Cursive handwriting

- Capital letters and full stops correctly.

- Facts and statistics about your endangered predator.

Step 4:  Re-read your work, and edit and improve your writing.

 

You might even want to record your speech once you've done your research and be your own very next David Attenborough!
