This week I thought it would be fun for you to write a story inspired by my pet tortoise Bernard! Below are some pictures that you might like to use as inspiration. As you can see, Bernard is feeling a bit bored one day and decides to escape from his pen!

If you have a pet, you may also like to write a story about them going on an adventure. They could even team up with Bernard!

As a follow up activity, you could create some Bernard artwork, or even do some research into tortoises.
