Home Learning Mat WB 8.6.20 & Home learning superstars!

Our home learning mat blog for this week...

Hello Sea Lion class,

I hope you are doing well and you are trying your best. This week I have been busy preparing the Jellyfish class as I will be teaching the Year 1's next week.

I have attached our new home learning map for next week at the bottom of this blog.

Please do not feel pressured to complete every task on the map. We understand that some children like having a clear focus and routine, whereas others need more flexibility. As a minimum, please try to complete some maths tasks, spellings and do some reading together. Remember to just do what you can.

All resources for our Science topic 'rocks' are in numbered order and 'tremors' topic work can be found at the bottom of this blog too. I hope this helps.

Well done to those children who have been logging onto DoodleMaths, MyMaths and Reading Eggs this week.  It would be lovely to see more of the Sea Lions logging on next week and accessing the home learning map.

Doodle Maths Superstars who have logged on nearly everyday:   Charlie, Evie, Connor, Georgia, Harry, Kosta,  Louis and Reece . You're doing a fantastic job!

MyMaths Superstars : I have noticed so many of you are logging into this which is fantastic! Special shout out to Yahia, Georgia, Louis,  Evie and Charlie who have been working extra hard this week!

I will be continuing to add more mymaths based on fractions  for you to do at your own pace and check in on how you are all doing next week.

Reading  Eggs:  Special mention to Harry who has worked hard to complete his reading comprehension activities.  Remember if you would like to find out more information about this app please see one of my previous blog posts called 'what is reading eggs?'.

As always if you have any questions or worries please email me using our class email address.

I miss you all lots and I'm  sending  you lots of positivity,

Miss Fowell
