Dragon Wants To Be A Hero!

Join us this week on a journey through some traditional tales in search of a story where Dragon can be a hero!

Watch our video this week and find out how he becomes the hero that everyone wanted.

Lots of activities prompted by the story this week.

Can you remember any of the traditional stories yourself?

What are the characters in the different stories. What happened in each story?

Did you notice that at the beginning and at the end you were told a really short version of Dragons story?

Well.... your challenge - Can you draw, talk about or write a short version of one of the traditional tales?

3 Little pigs?       Goldilocks and the 3 bears?       Hansel and Gretel?    Jack and the Beanstalk?

Have you ever mixed up your fairy tales?

Well we will look at a book that re-writes them all by mixing them up. The result? Some very funny stories indeed.

White Rose Maths have got so many fab Zog activities this week with a short video introduction each day.

Click here to go to the Zog activity page.

Zog has challenged you to make a Dragon puppet that you can move and dance with.

Get your fingers working hard and practice your scissor skills. watch the video and click on the attachment below to print off the dragon template.

Tell me a dragon . Do you imagine you have your very own dragon and no-one has one quite like yours?

Are you good at following moves?

Will you be the dragon or the Knight?

Have lots of dragon fun again this week.

Don't forget your Doodle Maths and Reading eggs too !
