Wow! Bluebells have had a fantastic week! All the children have settled back into school really well after the holidays.

Here are some general reminders for the term:

Spelling

Our weekly spelling quiz will start again next week. We are up to set 5, autumn 1. Below is a copy of all our spellings for this term in case you have lost your copy. Please practice your current spellings and review a few old ones too. I will continue to upload a video or task onto Seesaw once a week.

Reading

It has been lovely to see so many entries in your home-school books. Quite a few children have achieved or are close to achieving their bronze awards.
Please try to read at least three times a week. Don't forget to sign the Bronze award sheet at the back of your home-school book each time you read. Let's try to get everyone achieving their Bronze by Christmas!

Homework

As well as reading, children need to access Doodlemaths to practice key skills. Little and often is a great way to approach this. Please encourage your child to earn their stars. At the end of each week, the class with the most stars or biggest improvement will earn a reward.
