After learning more about carnivores and herbivores, we noticed some differences in their teeth and decided to recreate them in school.

For herbivores, we used stones to grind up grass and leaves.

For carnivores, we used tweezers to pull apart some 'meat' (cotton wool!)

We also tried grinding grass with tweezers and pulling apart meat with stones to see which type of teeth suited the different food.

Something like a staple remover or a fork would be perfect for carnivore teeth.
