The expectation is that children read and have their diaries signed three times a week.

If your child is on the same colour band as last time, this does not mean they haven't made any progress or that they have regressed. We prefer to keep children on the same colour after the summer to fill any gaps and build their confidence back up.

Our hope is that in 3 - 6 weeks your child will have filled these gaps and be ready to move on to the next stage.

In class we have a new reading tracker to show who has earned their reading awards. Please make sure you sign the award tracker at the back of your diary - It would be amazing to get some children on bronze by next half term!
