Hello!

This half term our topic 'Blue Abyss' covers lots of Science and due to this we have been learning about 'living things and their habitats'.

Last week in Science we learnt that living things have 7 characteristics (or we remember these by the anagram 'Mrs Nerg').

Movement

Respiration

Sensitivity

 

Nutrition

Excretion

Reproduction 

Growth

 

Today we looked at a variety of living things found in the ocean we cut these out, discussed the sea creatures and sorted these into different groups such as their diet, where they live and how they adapt.

 

We worked well at listening to one another and working collaboratively whilst learning lots about oceanic creatures!
