End of Autumn 1!

Well, what a great start to Year 1 we have had!

Over the past few weeks we have been learning how to write fabulous sentences about woodland animals, comparing numbers to 10 and all about the different plants we can find here in the UK.

When we come back in November we will start our new topic called Bright Lights, Big City and it is all about our capital city London! I have attached a list of home learning activities which you can do with your families to get you ready for this new topic.

Keep up with your reading and doodle maths over the holidays, it will really help to embed some of the skills we have been learning in school.

I hope you all have a lovely half-term holiday and I can't wait to see your faces again soon.

PS: The class were really excited to show you our new continent song! We are still learning it but it is really helping us remember the names of the 7 continents on our Earth.
