During our recent assemblies, we have been finding out about Black History Month and well known black men and women from the past and the present. The children have learnt about the life of Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks amongst others.  We have talked about equality and the children have expressed how they can see that not everyone has been or are treated fairly because of the colour of their skin. Several children were passionate in saying that this is wrong.
