Parents' Evening

Parents’ Evening: 28th March and 30th March 2022

This will be an opportunity for parents and carers to come into school and discuss their children’s progress in person with the class teacher. Parents and carers will also get the chance to look at some of their children’s work. When booking and coming into school, please be mindful:

· of good hand hygiene and sensible distancing.

· that appointments last 10 minutes and teachers will need to end them promptly to reduce waiting time and congestion.

· you can let your child’s class teacher know if you have any specific questions on the booking form (see below).

· that we have allocated enough ‘slots’ for each child to have one 10 minute appointment. If you feel you need more time than this, please contact the school office and we will discuss this with you.

When you come into school, governors are planning to be on site to welcome you and also issue our annual parent and carer survey. Governors will analyse the survey and use the findings to inform future planning – they will also summarise the responses and communicate this summary with parents and carers.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming parents back into school – we find the chance to talk in person an invaluable way of developing relationships and finding ways to support children’s progress.

Please note, the gates at the front and rear of the school will be open, but all parents should enter through the Reception area – the rear doors will be locked.
