    Action songs and rhymes are great conversation starters.

    By doing an action with a word it helps your child learn and remember new vocabulary.

    Plus it is great fun!

    We obviously had a pirate theme for this set of songs and rhymes!

  • Building Scrap People - Building new vocabulary

    Why not try this activity with your child you can find this and lots of other ideas to help support and develop your child's communication and language.

    This arty activity is a really fun way to explore new words with your child.

    You can build scrap people out of objects you find around the house like old cardboard tubes and string.

    Try asking your child to explain what they are doing at each step - and let their imagination run wild!
