Create a unicorn!
The weather's been a bit rubbish hasn't it? Here's some unicorns to brighten your day!
This week, our writing focus will be on character descriptions.
I would like you to create a unicorn character and then write a description of it. If you need some inspiration, here are some unicorn stories read aloud on YouTube (feel free to steal words for you writing!)
I have attached a blank unicorn that you could print and colour, but feel free to draw your own. You could even paint it or sculpt it using playdoh and modelling clay!
To help you with writing, I would recommend completing the BBC bitesize lesson on descriptive sentences
Year 2 children (and year 1 if you want a challenge!) should also take a look at the Week Two lessons on the Oak National Academy website, particularly Wed-Fri
