Mindfulness May


The school council and I have spent the last few weeks discussing a project we could do as a whole school.

The children thought focusing on ''keeping calm' or 'mindfulness' would be a brilliant idea and came up with some fantastic short activities each class could do everyday for the month of May. 

Mindfulness is all about focusing on the present and doing activities that help us feel more aware of how we feel and letting go of the noise and everyday distractions that may make us feel sad, stressed or worried.

Attached to this blog post is the 'Mindfulness May' calendar we created- perhaps you might want to have a go at some of these activities at home.
