10 e-safety tips for home learning

During these times, children are spending a lot more time online.

At KPNS, although, we are not doing 'virtual lessons' over platforms such as zoom or MS Teams, we know these programmes are still great for connecting the children with their peers and we have seen some great examples of collaborative learning, such as VIPERS video chat discussions!

Please take a look at the advice attached below with the ten top tips from National Online Safety for remote learning and using video chatting software.

Remember to:

  • Balance online and offline time.
  • Monitor your child's online activity and video calls.
  • Although you do not need to wear school uniform, please ensure children wear appropriate clothing when video chatting.

Think U Know also have some additional resource packs for you to look at it with your children, if you would like additional information.
