Today all the children in school were visited by two members of the Nottinghamshire Road Safety Education Team. Each class had a special session with the team focusing on different aspects of staying safe on the road. This included safe crossing using STOP, LOOK, LISTEN for the younger pupils.  Our older pupils talked about the importance of wearing seatbelts in cars and finding safe places to cross. Finally, the Year 6 children covered independent travel and how to be safe when not accompanied by an adult. 

All the sessions were incredibly important and will help your children keep themselves safe. Please take some time to chat to your child about what they learnt today.
