What a fantastic start Year 3's!
What did we do on our first week back?
We have had an incredibly busy first two days in school and what a start we've made!
I've been amazed at how well the Year 3's are beginning to settle into a new year and adapt to the routines and rules of the classroom . Ali Class started learning about fascinating fact files in Literacy as well as representing numbers to 100 in Maths. We learnt the importance of the Keyworth Code and created our own golden rules for the classroom.
The Year 3's prepared posters for the Tour of Britain cycling race which will be travelling through Keyworth next week. We also participated in an afternoon of Boxing with Mr Davenport to learn about the art of Boxing, the discipline and the skills needed!
Finally, to end the week we created fantastic sketches of our significant individual Muhammed Ali. It appears we have some fantastic budding artists amongst us! Click here to see some incredible sketches the children have drawn!
I can't wait for another brilliant week!
