Hello!

As part of our Year 3 topic 'Extreme weather' we have been working hard to design a cool box to withstand extreme heat such as heat waves.

We have spent time looking at real life examples of cool boxes, looked at their design and thought about the criteria of an effective cool box.

This week we worked hard experimenting and creating 3D nets by using a variety of methods to strengthen our 3D paper nets such as corrugating, straw techniques and laminating.

Next week we will be designing our own cool box, making our cool box and then evaluating our DT project design.
