Hello all! Hope you had an excellent summer holidays and are looking forward to coming back to school.During the holiday I have been busy getting our classroom ready and can't wait to see you all tomorrow!

 

This term we will be learning some very exciting topic with our main topic been The Deep Blue Abyss.For more information on what we will be learning this term check the curriculum map below.

 

Class text this term

This term we will be reading two class texts linked to our topic first been  Greta Thunberg Little people big dream book and second been Song of the dolphin boy. If you have a copy at home please feel free to bring it in and read alone.

 

PE days

Our PE day this term will be Mondays and Thursdays with Miss Robinson. Please make sure children have the correct PE Kit and sensible shoes.

 

Expectations

• Read out loud to an adult at least 3x a week and to note this in your home school dairy. 
• To be in the green zone on Doodle maths (Including doodle timetables) each week.
• To be on the green zone on Doodle spell each week.
• To  ensure that they have their PE kits for each PE lesson or they will not be allowed to take part
• To take part in the Bronze reading award.

Timetables 

In year four the children are expected to practice their timetables every day to help prepare them for MTC test that they will complete in June. More information about the MTC test will follow in the coming weeks.
