  • School Meals are Changing.....

    Published 18/07/23, by Claire Buttery

Taylor Shaw will be taking over our catering services from September. Please find attached menu and further information about our new provider. You will notice there are two options available daily either the set school lunch or a jacket potato.

The process of ordering a school meal will remain the same, children let their teacher know at registration each morning what they will be having for lunch.

If your child requires an alternative menu due to dietary requirements, please complete this form before September as the previous forms you have completed were for NCC and Taylor Shaw have their own procedure and will be in touch to discuss the menu your child requires.

    https://orders.lunchhound.co.uk/medicaldiets/request

The price of school meals will increase to £2.70 from Monday 4th  September 2023 (this is in line with what NCC would have been charging if they were our catering provider).

Foundation & KS1 still receive universal free school meals.

  • Changes to PE Kit from September

    Published 28/06/23, by Claire Buttery

We are making some changes to our PE Uniform from September 2023.

Our new PE Uniform will be:

    • BLACK shorts
    • RED round neck t-shirt.
    • Trainers or plimsolls
    • Tracksuit/ warm top for cold weather

We have decided to make these changes for a number of reasons. Firstly, many children are using their normal white school t-shirts for PE and this is unhygienic. Secondly, PE Kit is a uniform and we know that when the children look smart, they feel a sense of identity and the impact on behaviour and and learning attitudes is positive. We have noticed a significant slip in children have the correct PE uniform and from September, will be raising our expectations.

Red round neck t-shirts can be purchased from most supermarkets and on Amazon for a reasonable cost.  be sending information out very soon. Thank you for your support with this.
