Year One, Here we come!
Hello Little Explorers, Miss Sturman here!
F2 have been very lucky this week and spent lots of time with me in their new Year One classroom!
On Wednesday, they joined in with the main school playtime on the field, and had lots of fun. We then ventured into the woodland area to make woodland bracelets and listen to a story under the trees.
On Friday, they spent all morning as Year Ones! They practised their Year One sitting and had a lovely time playing and exploring their new classroom. They spent some time completing their individual section of the whole school Kadinsky art project, listened to a story and learnt about our class name - Helen Keller! We will learn more about Helen Keller throughout Year One.
I was so pleased with how well they all settled in to the classroom and found their favourite toys within minutes!
