We started our new Maths measurement topic last week and we enjoyed using the weighing scales to measure the mass of objects and found out we measure weight in grams (g) and kilograms (kg). 

Today the Sea Lions looked at measuring the volume (the amount) of water using measuring jugs, we read the scales and found out we measure small volumes of liquid in mililitres (ml).

The Sea Lions worked  in their Maths groups using their self manager and independent enquiry skills to help practice reading scales.

I wonder if you could find objects to measure at home using scales, tape measures and measuring jugs.
