Year 6 residential

Residential at Beaumanor Hall

What a wonderful and busy time we had at Beaumanor Hall!

We went canoeing, climbing and abseiling as well as playing teamwork games. We also did a bridge building challenge and had to get all our team across the river. We were able to take part in Nightline on the second evening as it had to be postponed because of the storm. On the last day, we built shelters in the woods and tested whether they were weather-proof.

The children all ate well and went to bed at a reasonable time! They had hot chocolate before bed and there was a cup of tea in the morning for anyone who behaved at bedtime!

It was great to see the children overcome fears and try things they've never tried before. They were really brave and should be really proud of themselves for everything they achieved.

Thank you to Miss Robinson, Miss Garner, Mrs King and Mrs Holmes for giving up their time to come away with us.

Have a restful weekend.

Miss Hopwood
