For the next Half-term our topic is going to be 'Amazing Animals!'

To help make our learning fun and interesting we are going to focus on one text and really get to know it. The book we have chosen to do this with is 'What the Ladybird Heard' by Julia Donaldson. Every page has something new on it! The book will be helping us to spell the word 'said' correctly. We will be investigating words that end in _ed and _ing. We will be doing a rhyming word hunt and learn how to do rhyming couplets. We will be drawing maps and using directional language. We will be learning how to choose words that describe characters. Thats only the first few pages!
