Gardening Club, THANK YOU.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated to the Garden Club. We also need to thank both parents and children who volunteered to help with our first session (trying) to clear the garden area. I think it's fair to say it was a much bigger task than we initially thought.

So far, we have managed to start a herb garden, two of the beds are looking better, the front of school now has pots to add colour and the shed had a good clean out, including the biggest spider the children had seen. Anything that was broken has been thrown away and the FoKPNS have kindly donated money so I can purchase some new things.

I have just finished our level 1 stage of the RHS, school gardening awards so fingers crossed we are on our way to achieving our goal of all 5 awards.

I am planning on doing a follow-up session on either Wednesday 2nd November or Thursday 3rd November. I will know nearer the time which day is dryer. No need to sign up this time, the more hands we get the better.

I will include pictures on my next blog to keep you updated on our progress.

If anyone has any joinery experience and feel that could help me repair some things, I really would like to hear from you.
