Since all our classes are named after birds, we have been learning all about them. This week Lynn Victor from the Nottingham Wildlife Trust came in to tell us loads of cool and interesting facts about birds but especially the ones we might see in our own gardens. She taught us not only how to identify them but also how to look after them during the winter months. She then spent some time with each of our classes making pinecone bird feeders to hang around school and in our gardens. Thank you so much to Lynn, all the children (and adults) at Keyworth Primary love her visits and we can’t wait to see which birds flock to our home-made feeders!
