🌟 Welcome Back to Foundation! 🌟
We are so excited to welcome all of our wonderful children and families back to school! We can’t wait to begin another exciting year filled with fun, friendship, learning and lots of new adventures.
🚪 Arriving at School
Please remember our arrival arrangements:
- F1 children should meet staff at the gate leading into the foundation playground.
- F2 children should come in through the shared Limetrees entrance.
Our team will be there to greet everyone and help children settle happily into their new routines.
🎒 What Your Child Needs Each Day
Please make sure your child brings:
- A water bottle
- Their book bag
- A coat (whatever the weather!)
- A packed lunch if needed
🏷️ Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name. This helps us return any misplaced belongings quickly.
📚 Our First Stories
Over the next two weeks, we will be sharing two fantastic books:
🦕 Harry and the Dinosaurs Go to School
🎨 The Colour Monster
These stories will help us talk about starting school, making friends, understanding our feelings and settling into Foundation.
💡 Our Big Idea
This half term we will be exploring:
“Why am I brilliant and what is it like in Foundation?”
We will be encouraging children to think about their own special talents, celebrate what makes them unique and discover all the exciting things that happen in our Foundation classrooms.

Get ready for some singing at home too! We will be enjoying:
