The children have shared such thoughtful ideas about the superheroes we see in everyday life… from nurses and firefighters to family members and community helpers like shop workers and delivery drivers! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ

Theyโ€™ve also been loving exploring what makes them unique, and itโ€™s been a joy to hear all about what they want to be when they grow up. Their amazing list includes: firefighters, vets, paramedics, doctors, teachers, police officers, princesses, chefs, Spiderman, a ballerina, a singer, a bus driver, a builder, and an artist! ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš’๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ‘‘

Next week, weโ€™ll be diving even deeper into our learning with two Big Idea questions:
๐Ÿ’ญ What would your superpower be?
๐Ÿ’ญ Who is your superhero?

These questions encourage children to explore their imaginations, express their feelings, and celebrate the special people in their lives โ€“ whether it’s a comic book hero, a real-life role model, or even themselves! ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿฆธ

๐Ÿ“šโœจHere are a couple of the books that we will be sharing with the children:

๐Ÿ“ฆ Thank you for all of the cardboard box donations- the children have been putting them to great use!

๐Ÿ“š We still need more volunteers for our library trip on Monday 13th October (rough time needed: 2:00pm-3:00pm) If youโ€™re able to help, please let us know! ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณย Do you, or a family member have a job you’d be happy to come in and talk about with the children?
It would really help bring our topic to life! Even seeing different uniforms and asking questions would be such a valuable experience for the children, let us know! We have a police officer coming to visit us next week โ˜บ๏ธ

๐Ÿ“– Keep up with all the super reading you’re doing at home! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ“•โค๏ธ
