πŸ“š What a Wonderful World Book Day! πŸŽ‰

On Thursday we had a fantastic World Book Day celebration in class! The children had so much fun following instructions to make some delicious cakes and working together to build a biscuit city πŸ°πŸ™οΈ

A big thank you to parents and carers for your participation and for the children’s fabulous costumesΒ πŸ‘βœ¨

Our Big Idea Question for next week links perfectly with our World Book Day activities and non-fiction theme:

❓ Can you follow instructions?

Throughout the week, the children will be:
πŸ—οΈ Following instructions to build different structures and buildings
🏰 Following step-by-step instructions to draw a castle

We will also be sharing some fabulous stories with the children, have a listen below… πŸ“–

πŸ“– Reading at home: Please keep sharing stories at home, sharing RWI books (F2) and recording them in your child’s reading diary so they can work towards their reading awards.

♻️ Junk modelling: We would love donations for our Make & Do table. Any small cardboard boxes, egg boxes, toilet roll tubes, yoghurt pots, milk bottle tops etc would be greatly appreciated. The children will be using them to create castles! 🏰
