In the final week before Christmas, Y6 have taken part in Christmas massive maths and been to the pantomime!
Christmas Massive Maths
Lots of the Y6 children were fantastic helpers to younger children with their maths activities. They were brilliant role models and supportive.
In the Y6 classroom, Y5 and Y6 children took part in a Christmas paper chain activity. They had to follow instructions for how wide to cut the strips of paper for the paperchain and make a prediction about which paperchain would be longest. They then competed to see who could make the longest paperchain. The winning group was over 7m!
