Dahl Class Trip to Manor Farm

What an incredible time Dahl Class had on our trip to Manor Farm! The children were full of excitement from the moment we arrived, and the day was packed with learning, laughter, and unforgettable experiences.

Animal Chat Room – Wide Eyes and Lots of Gasps!

We began our adventure in the Animal Chat Room, where we were able to look at, touch, and learn about a wonderful variety of animals. The staff were absolutely fantastic—full of knowledge, fun facts, and brilliant explanations that kept the children completely engaged.

The children impressed everyone with what they remembered from our science lessons. They talked confidently about animal groups, diets, and habitats, and the staff couldn’t believe how much they already knew! It was such a proud moment watching their faces light up as they shared their ideas.

Falconry – Our Very Own Bird of Prey Show

Next, we made our way to the falconry area, where we were treated to a private show with some magnificent birds of prey. The children sat in awe as the birds swooped and glided around us. There were lots of gasps, lots of questions, and lots of amazement!

Lunch, Dinosaurs and Playtime

After lunch, we headed off to the dinosaur trail—a big highlight of the day! The children loved exploring, discovering, and then letting off some well-earned energy on the park. Their smiles said it all!

Goat Feeding – A Hilarious Experience!

Then came one of the funniest parts of the day: feeding the goats. The goats were full of personality and VERY excited about the food. They kept climbing the fences, stretching their necks, and doing everything they could to get the treats. The children thought it was hilarious and had an absolute blast!

Finishing with Soft Play Slides

We finished our day in the soft play area, where the children showed incredible bravery zooming down the huge slides. It was a wonderful way to end such a busy and joyful trip.
