We are at the end of yet another school year, and what a year it’s been in Year 1!

Year 1 is such a special place to be. I get to watch the children grow in confidence as they learn to read, write, and tackle tricky maths problems. But it’s not just about lessons – this year we’ve seen big steps in building friendships, learning to work together, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

Rashford Class has been an absolute delight to teach. They’ve made me proud (particularly with their amazing reading!) and will always hold a very special place in my heart – especially as this has been my final class at Keyworth Primary School.

Wishing you all a brilliant summer holiday filled with fun and sunshine ☀️ and the very best of luck as you move into Year 2. I know you’ll continue to shine! 💫

Four leaf clover, our Year 1 story is over!
