Year 4 Enjoy a Massive Maths Morning!

During Spring 2, Year 4 had a brilliant time taking part in our Massive Maths Morning, filled with fun, teamwork and lots of learning. The children thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning rotating through a variety of exciting maths activities that challenged their thinking while keeping maths enjoyable and engaging.

One of the highlights of the morning was our Pirate Game, a firm class favourite – this time with a fun Easter twist! The classroom was buzzing with excitement as the children worked in teams to use their grid‑reading skills to locate treasure and steal money from other pirate teams. Accurate co‑ordinates, careful strategy and excellent collaboration were key to being successful.

At the end of the game, the winning team was rewarded with a sweetie prize, which was met with big smiles all round. However, everyone was a winner for taking part, trying their best and showing such positive attitudes towards learning.

Well done, Year 4, for an excellent Massive Maths Morning – you should be very proud of yourselves!
