At the end of each term, the children who have attended Reading Lair regularly celebrate their hard work with a special party. It’s a lovely way to recognise their commitment and enthusiasm for reading.
Today we enjoyed a fun-filled session with a festive twist. The children played a few Christmas games and loved decorating their own gingerbread biscuits, which added plenty of excitement (and a little bit of mess!). There was lots of laughter, smiles, and time to relax together.
We are incredibly proud of the children’s dedication. Those who have been able to attend Reading Lair every day since September have read for approximately 1,500 minutes, which is an amazing 25 hours of reading. What a fantastic achievement!
