Stan Lee Class had a fantastic week celebrating Healthy Living Week, filled with a variety of activities and lessons focused on how we can stay healthy.
We kicked off the week by exploring the effects of smoking and alcohol on our bodies, engaging in thoughtful discussions about making healthy choices. The children then enjoyed a lively session of scatter ball, where they worked together as a team and showcased their batting and fielding skills.
These skills were further put to the test when the local cricket club visited, giving the class a chance to play a proper game of cricket and learn from experienced players. We also had an exciting visit from a basketball coach, followed by enthusiastic participation in the whole school run, promoting cardiovascular fitness and school spirit.
The week concluded with an amazing Sports Day, where every student gave their best and, most importantly, supported one another throughout. I’m incredibly proud of the class for their teamwork, energy, and positive attitude all week long!
