This week, we’re celebrating what makes each of our little learners one of a kind and brilliantly unique!
Our Big Idea Questions are:
💡 Why am I brilliant?
🧬 What makes me… me?
🎨 What do I like doing?
We will be sharing these stories with the children…

📖 We’re also kicking off our Talk for Writing journey with the much-loved story Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell!
Over the next few weeks, children will learn to re-tell the story using fun actions, building their storytelling skills. Then… it’s time to get creative and we’ll be inventing our own stories! 🐘📦🐍

👏 A huge thank you to everyone who is already working hard towards their Bronze Reading Awards! We love seeing your reading diaries in action. 🏅📖
Check Tapestry for more details on how to use reading diaries at home and support your child’s reading journey.
📅 Monday 13th October | 2:00–3:00pm – EYFS Library Visit
We’re planning a trip to the library, but we need your help to make it happen! This visit depends on having enough parent helpers—if you’re able to come along, please let a member of the EYFS Team know.
🙏 A big thank you in advance (and to those who have already offered!).
🧥 Lost Property Alert!
Please make sure all items coming into school are clearly labelled—jumpers, cardigans, water bottles, everything! Our lost property box is already gathering quite the collection of unclaimed clothing. Feel free to have a look if you’re missing anything.
Thank you for your continued support—here’s to another fun-filled week of learning and play! 🌈✨
