Today we had an online visit with the British Library who intorduced us to Katie and Kevin Tsang, creators of the Dragon Realm Series of books.
We spent an hour listening to them as they explained how they constructed their stories and why they particularly loved dragons.
We were also able to see an actual illustrator ( Viv Schwartz) create her own imaginary world, accessed through a portal, with a main character, a mystical creature, a potions cupboard and a map.
The children decided that they wanted to continue creating their own worlds after lunch. So, we spent a lovely afternoon getting creative!
